a. raymond johnson is a writer, karaoke aficionado, and native southerner living in Chicago. with his environmental science degree from Northwestern University, he has worked extensively in bookstores and law firms. he received his MFA in fiction from Antioch University in Los Angeles and has since been awarded writing residencies at Ragdale and Millay Colony for his novels-in-progress. he has blogged since 2000, and also frequently updates his facebook status and twitter. @raymondj has contributed movie reviews and Dancing with the Stars recaps to Out Magazine’s Popnography and currently he is Culture Editor of I Fry Mine In Butter.
